We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote AWS Cloud FinOps Engineer to join our team In this role, you'll be responsible for optimizing our cloud spend on AWS and ensuring the cost-effectiveness of our cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Analyze and optimize cloud costs on AWS using FinOps principles.

Identify opportunities for cost savings through right-sizing resources, utilizing reserved instances, leveraging spot instances, and implementing autoscaling.

Design, deploy, and manage secure and scalable AWS infrastructure.

Implement and maintain best practices for IAM and security services like GuardDuty, Config, and Inspector.

Collaborate with development, finance, and other teams to implement cost-saving initiatives.

Track and report on cloud spend and resource utilization.

Qualifications:

1+ years of experience working with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cloud FinOps or cloud spend optimization.

Proven track record of successfully optimizing cloud spend in previous projects.

Experience designing, deploying, and managing secure AWS infrastructure and security services (IAM, GuardDuty, Config, Inspector).

Excellent understanding of cloud cost management principles and best practices.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

A FinOps certification is a plus.
