Summary/Function:

The Retirement Plan Analyst is responsible for providing comprehensive analytical support and handling the day-to-day transactional administration of the companys retirement plans, both the 401(K) and the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), in compliance with plan documents and legislation.

Required Experience:

Primary Qualifications:*Prior experience with 401(k) retirement plan administration is preferred, prior experience with an ESOP is a plus.*Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, *Strong customer service orientation.*Excellent attention to detail.*Solid Excel skills are required.*Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Primary Duties:*Manage core monthly, quarterly, and annual plan processes, to include new hire enrollments, ESOP distribution requests and plan force-out distributions.*Regularly monitor plan activity, transactions, and data reporting. Identify and investigate issues, compile information and prepare operational and financial reports and analyses of assigned plans.*Work in close coordination with relevant internal departments and third-party administrators to troubleshoot issues, develop solutions, and ensure compliant administration of the plans.*Interface with employees, former employees, and beneficiaries to answer retirement plan questions, provide timely support, and appropriately escalate issues to the Benefits Manager as they arise. *Promote employee education on the retirement plans via communication campaigns, training, and events.*Assist with annual audit process, gathering information requested by the auditors, researching and responding as items are surfaced, working with internal external partners to complete requests.*Partner with the Benefits Manager to evaluate plans, current processes, industry trends and legislative requirements, and present recommendations for changes or enhancements to management.*Assist with ad hoc projects across the various functions of the Benefits teams, which may include annual enrollment activities, employee communications, vendor appraisals, etc.*Maintain collaborative team relationships with peers and colleagues to effectively contribute to the working group's achievement of goals, and to help foster a positive work environment.
