Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in embedded systems development, with proficiency in C programming and a strong understanding of PCB bringup and design. As a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and testing of our embedded systems solutions.

Responsibilities: Embedded Systems Development:

Design and implement embedded software solutions for our products, focusing on performance, efficiency, and reliability. C Code Development:

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable C code for embedded systems, ensuring compliance with coding standards and best practices. PCB Bringup:

Lead the PCB bringup process, including debugging, testing, and troubleshooting hardware and firmware issues. Hardware Design Support:

Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system architecture and requirements, providing input on PCB layout and design considerations. Integration and Testing:

Integrate software with hardware components, conduct thorough testing, and perform system-level validation to ensure proper functionality. Documentation:

Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, and product managers, to drive successful project outcomes. Continuous Improvement:

Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and techniques in embedded systems development, actively seeking opportunities to enhance our processes and methodologies.

Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. years of experience in embedded systems development, with a focus on C programming. Proven track record of successful PCB bringup and design, including experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle). Strong understanding of microcontroller/microprocessor architectures and peripherals (e.g., ARM Cortex-M, SPI, I2C, UART). Experience with debugging tools and techniques (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG). Familiarity with communication protocols such as USB, Ethernet, CAN, and/or Bluetooth. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux. Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, Agile/Scrum). Knowledge of signal processing algorithms and/or digital signal processors (DSPs). Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards for embedded systems (e.g., EMC/EMI, safety certifications).
