Summary Swift Sensors is growing and seeking an Embedded Software Engineer specializing in Java and Linux to join our R&D team. As an integral member of our development team, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing embedded software solutions for our cutting-edge products. Responsibilities ● Design, develop, and debug embedded software solutions using Java programming language for Linux-based systems. ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications. ● Architect and implement software components for embedded systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability. ● Optimize software for resource-constrained embedded platforms, including memory and power management. ● Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure software quality and reliability. ● Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and maintenance. ● Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in embedded software development.

Requirements ● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. ● Solid understanding of embedded systems development principles and practices. ● Proficiency in Java programming language, with experience in developing embedded software applications. ● Strong knowledge of Linux operating system internals and experience with Linux-based embedded systems. ● Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux distributions. ● Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software issues. ● Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment. ● Passion for learning and staying updated on emerging technologies in embedded software development.
