TITLE : Recruiting Specialist

DEPARTMENT : Administration

POSITION OBJECTIVE : Identify, engage, recruit, and hire qualified candidates. Evaluate tools for sourcing and selecting candidates. Nurture relationships with potential employees and ensure the best candidate experience. Assist the Director of Human Resources with other projects and responsibilities

REPORTS TO : Director of Human Resources

LOCATION : Schaumburg, Illinois (Hybrid)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Consult with hiring managers to identify needs and requirements
Develop job descriptions and position announcements
Manage the Applicant Tracking System, including the user orientation
Source potential candidates through various channels
Develop and implement interview and selection procedures
Screen candidates through applications and initial video interviews
Partner with Marketing team to manage the AmericanAg employer brand on job boards and professional networking sites
Coordinate interviews, including on-site group meetings
Develop useful metrics to report on employee population changes
Administer background and reference checks
Draft offer letters
Other duties as assigned

RELATIONSHIPS :

Daily work with employees of all levels and in all departments of the organization
Maintain relationships with various vendors

REQUIRED EDUCATION OR TRAINING : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related field

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS :

At least three years of recruiting experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members
Ability to protect confidential and sensitive information
Meticulous attention to detail
Effective organizational skills to manage multiple processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Must be able to work in our Schaumburg, Illinois, headquarters at least three days each week and as needed to meet candidates onsite. Occasional travel for meetings, conferences, and job fairs

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $90,000 annually. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for an annual productivity bonus.
