THE OPPORTUNITY:

In our data-driven world, we're looking for an organized, efficient team player to join our Purchasing Department. In this role, you'll be responsible for using computer systems to accurately enter orders, researching account activity, resolving vendor issues, and providing crucial support to the purchasing team while communicating seamlessly with various departments.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hrs/week This is a fully onsite position @ our super ah-mazing headquarters in Detroit Lakes, MN.

A Typical Day (job functions) | Create POs + Problem Solving + Effective Communication + Team Support
•Review orders and place POs with multiple vendors using multiple systems and platforms
•Confirm and adjust POs, update due dates and expedite orders as needed to meet customer deadlines
•Troubleshoot order-related issues and coordinate with other departments to resolve them
•Apply sound judgment and independent decision-making skills to manage procurement processes
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all designs, prices, and body style information
•Identify and address potential issues or questions in order management
•Work with suppliers to secure return authorizations and credits
•Provide courteous and professional service to all stakeholders
•Ensure accuracy of data/information in the MRP system
•Track and analyze supplier performance through scorecard analysis and communication
•Embrace a mindset of Continuous Improvement (another one of our core values) to identify opportunities and develop processes
•Balance multiple tasks effectively with a keen eye for detail
•Cultivate and maintain positive, values-driven relationships with vendors
•Perform other tasks as assigned

Skills (qualifications) | Detail-Driven + Microsoft Proficient + Team Attitude + Organization
•High school diploma required
•Purchasing experience preferred, but not required
•Detail-oriented with excellent computer skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
•Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage requirements and processes efficiently
•Adept at using various Internet platforms
•Capable of typing 50+ words per minute
