POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing marketing strategies (including tactical implementation) for Praxis Mutual Funds, a fund family of Everence, to target audiences. In collaboration with the Praxis Director of Sales and other partners, this position will utilize multi-channel, multi-touch marketing approaches to help Praxis’ primary audiences – advisor networks and their clients – integrate faith values and investing and to reinforce the Praxis brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  1. Provide marketing expertise to Praxis (in coordination with the Praxis Sales Team), including the development, administration, and monitoring of competitive analyses, strategic marketing plans, marketing campaigns, and key performance metrics. 
  2. Integrate the Praxis brand in all marketing strategies and tactics, deliver meaningful customer experience (through the utilization of market research, digital analytics, market data, customer personas, etc.), and generate and nurture marketing and sales leads.
  3. Align product marketing plans and activities with the Praxis corporate marketing plan, direction, and objectives.
  4. Deliver investment industry and market-specific intelligence related to faith-based and socially responsible investing as part of strategic sales and marketing efforts.
  5. Develop and manage marketing budgets for Praxis as required.
  6. Develop, monitor, evaluate, and update appropriate Web and digital content that aligns with Praxis digital and content marketing strategies. 
  7. Track and analyze marketing initiatives and campaigns to understand customer behavior and overall marketing success.
  8. Perform creative service functions, such as copy development, as assigned.
  9. Coordinate and monitor activities for marketing and communications projects in assigned areas to:
    1. Develop and monitor schedules to meet agreed-upon deadlines.
    2. Coordinate project details to ensure accurate and effective completion of communication projects.
    3. Gain approvals (internal, external, compliance/regulatory, etc.).
  10. Continue to grow in awareness and knowledge of Praxis, its products and services, its advisor clients and their customer experiences, the faith community, and current marketing trends and practices.
  11. Be familiar with and uphold the Praxis writing, design, and digital standards.
  12. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, communications, or a related field required

Experience: 

  1. Preferred three or more years of proven marketing and/or communications experience, including creative work (such as writing or design) and marketing plan development and implementation
  2. In-depth experience in planning and executing marketing initiatives and tactics across traditional and digital channels
  3. Strong understanding of lead generation best practices
  4. Website content management experience a plus
  5. Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  6. Proven ability to successfully manage relationships with a variety of personalities
  7. Investment-related experience preferred, including experiences with investment products and knowledge of relevant communication systems and marketing strategies

  1. Ability to:
    1. Take initiative, organize diverse tasks, work independently, and integrate and pursue corporate strategy
    2. Effectively work as part of a team and lead cross-functional teams
    3. Effectively interact with various parties across and outside the organization
    4. Clearly communicate information and ideas to others verbally and in writing (effective public speaking and presentation skills are a plus)
    5. Manage a budget
  2. Strong project management, communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  3. Computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Office programs and web content management
  4. A commitment to the Everence Stewardship Investing principles and the role of faith-based investing
  5. Familiarity with the tenets of the Anabaptist faith. Comfort in discussing issues of faith and foundational beliefs that represent the way Praxis approaches the investment function.
  6. More or less 15% of overnight travel away from home
