Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the field with a proven track record of leading and delivering complex projects. As a Principal Engineer, you will play a key role in driving technical innovation, providing technical leadership, and contributing to the overall success of our engineering initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of project needs from concept to production, ensuring high-quality and efficient solutions.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Architect and implement scalable and robust solutions that meet both current and future business needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, sales, and operations, to ensure successful project delivery.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and design principles.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing guidance to the team in problem-solving.
Qualifications:
CCIE Required
Previous experience (academic or internship) working as a principal engineer.
Additional Cisco Certifications preferred.
Cisco product experience or meaningful experience in key competitor offerings in technology area of emphasis highly preferred
BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent required
Ability to juggle and finish multiple tasks
Able to lead technical discussions with technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to drive technical innovation and foster a culture of excellence within an engineering team.
