About the position
Provide brand leaders with financial and operational insight to address business questions and support management evaluations and decisions through generating relevant reports, creating financial models and templates and performing ad hoc analysis.
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and monthly rolling forecasts for multiple units and brands; Monitor and forecast weekly cash flow.
Prepare and distribute monthly and periodic financial, operational and sales reports, including pro-forma financial statements and Board level reporting packages.
Assist with month-end financial closing processes, to include reviewing and researching discrepancies, and providing explanations for variances to plan.
Create Board materials and presentations.
Assist with the due diligence efforts of new acquisitions and with the integration of acquired brands and business units.
What We Need
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Data Analytics
5-7 years of corporate FP&A or forecasting and budgeting responsibilities over multiple entities/brands
Previous experience with M&A and Private Equity investors
Recent experience with Adaptive Planning and NetSuite
Intermediate to Advanced Excel with the ability to interpret and learn complex functions
