  • Financial Analysis and Accounting Operations
    • Monitor and analyze actual costs and prepare monthly reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
    • Monitors and analyzes changes in raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs.
    • Assist in costing new product development, product launch and product obsolescence.
    • Monitors and analyzes distribution costs (freight & warehousing).
    • Monitors and analyzes financial & operational reports.
    • Lead and manage the quarterly excess and obsolete inventory review process.
    • Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs and inventory valuation.

Software: Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Suite

Education: Bachelor's degree

Management responsibilities
Manage Cost Accounting staff and cost functions.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Recommends cost efficiencies in new product layouts and provides business decision support.
  • Key contributor in ERP projects and enhancements
  • Ensure monthly ERP manufacturing transactions are performed timely and accurately.
Financial Reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial, legal, management and group reporting.
  • Providing cost reporting and freight reporting to aid in management decisions.
  • Ad-hoc reporting.
  • Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and audit requirements.
  • Provide support to manufacturing and supply chain functions.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
