The

Territory Sales Manager (TSM)

is responsible for managing daily business development and sales functions associated with a specific market segment. The successful candidate will be expected to travel extensively, regionally and/or nationally, to pursue new business opportunities. This will include both air and ground travel. The role includes supporting the growth of the organization, interacting with Clients and potential Clients, managing specific projects, and supporting broader business development initiatives. This position reports under the Vice President of Sales.

Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact and follow-up for medical transport target audience in designated sales territory with the goal of generating new business for QMC; identify business opportunities in a designated sales territory and nurture targets throughout the sales cycle; including, but not limited to cold calling, lead qualification, preparing financial analyses, preparing proposals, completing sales presentations and preliminary agreement negotiation. Serve as the primary point of contact for new Client transition for all new business obtained; this includes but is not limited to preparing briefing notes for the operations team; participating in a designated handoff meeting; and liaising with the new Client up to and during implementation of the account. Support the Vice President of Sales with Request for Proposal (RFP) responses for opportunities in designated sales territory, to include initial evaluation of the RFP, compiling pertinent questions, attending pre-bid conferences if necessary, following the timelines in accordance with the RFP requirements, preparing a portion of the RFP response in concert with QMC leadership, performing follow-up after submission and gathering feedback on the proposal process with the receiving agency. Support the development of all QMC marketing support materials; this includes, but is not limited to, print materials, promotional items, trade show giveaways, trade show materials and QMC logo items. Support and participate in medical transport industry trade shows in designated sales territory and nationally on behalf of QMC; this includes, but is not limited to trade show evaluation, event planning, relationship management, and booth coverage as necessary. Work with Business Development Team to deploy direct mail campaigns for targets in designated sales territory; this includes, but is not limited to mailing lists maintenance, assistance with preparing materials for distribution, and tracking the responses/success of the campaign. Create and maintain as current accounts, opportunities, and contacts in the QMC CRM database; this includes, but is not limited to entering leads, contacts and accounts, logging tasks, notes, and status updates, verifying and updating information in the database and working with the Business Development Team to maintain accurate content for all designated accounts in the database. Perform concerted outreach efforts on behalf of QMC in designated sales territory and nationally as necessary; this includes, but is not limited to following up on leads, sending background materials to potential Clients, and performing post trade show follow-up. Support the Vice President of Sales and Vice President of Business Development in developing the annual business development and marketing plan for QMC. Requirements

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Combined experience and education will be considered. Five+ years of progressive sales/business development experience is required. Experience with relationship management software is preferred. Prior sales experience in EMS/Medical Transport Industry is preferred; and Prior marketing and business development experience is preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Persuasive on-site and web-based presentation skills; Ability to establish and maintain relationships across a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders; and Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
