Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator Who we are:Atkore is forging a future where our employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders, and communities are building better together - a future focused on serving the customer and powering and protecting the world.With a global network of manufacturing and distribution facilities, Atkore is a leading provider of electrical, safety and infrastructure solutions.Who we are looking for:We are currently looking for an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to be responsible for managing the Environmental Health and Safety of the facility.What you'll do:Employee onboarding/orientation.Safety administrative data collection.Regularly conduct observation walks to ensure safety compliance is met daily.Enter incident/environmental data into Enablon.Organize onsite safety committees.What you'll bring:High School Diploma is required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university highly desired. Minimum of one year experience working in EHS, compliance or direct field safetyStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office ApplicationsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks, strong time management skills and perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment with vendors, outside sub-contractors and inhouse installation teams. Within 3 months, you'll:Complete your Atkore immersion program.Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore's strategy.Understand Atkore's EHS Enablon system.Gain an understanding of the training materials and procedures for facilities.Within 6-months, you'll:Establish operating rhythm for facilities.Partner with HR to investigate and provide corrective measures for on-the-job accidents and injuries.Have strong onsite presence/working relationship with construction teams.Within 12-months, you'll:Create and update Enablon reports, including environmental metrics in operating rhythm. Scope and process fully established for employee onboarding, weekly walks and inspections.
