summary Employbridge is looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator /Project Manager in Hamilton, Oh. Who will be responsible for the planning, monitoring, and execution of projects within the company. Candidate(s) Compensation:$38-$40/hr (based on experience +/-) Must Haves:5 yrs experience in relation to estimating or project management and prior Procore Construction Software experience. Computer & Cell phone to be provided. Duties & Responsibilities: Manage electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Conduct detailed and accurate electrical estimates for projects of varying sizes and complexities. Develop and maintain project schedules, allocating resources effectively to meet project milestones. Oversee the selection and management of subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project timelines and quality standards. Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to understand project scope and requirements. Monitor project progress and address any issues that may impact the timeline, cost, or quality of the project. Collaborate with the sales team, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimates. Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to determine project costs and develop competitive bids. Prepare and submit detailed and organized bid proposals to clients within specified deadlines. Conduct regular site visits to assess work progress, safety compliance, and quality standards. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the most favorable terms and pricing. Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Maintain awareness of industry trends, market conditions, and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates. Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and client. required-skills: Requirements/Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimating and/or construction project management. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and industry best practices. Experience with estimating software and project management tools. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead project teams. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar is a plus Hiring Managers have agreed to decrease the minimum 5 yrs experience needed and is looking for at least 2yrs Commercial Construction estimating specifically for electrical installations.
