Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review external financial reports, including SEC filings.
  • Oversee technical accounting issues and ensure GAAP compliance.
  • Manage SOX internal controls and support audit processes.
  • Collaborate with the Investor Relations team on earnings communications.
  • Drive process improvements and conduct ad hoc accounting research as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's preferred).
  • CPA designation required.
  • 2-3+ years of Big 4 audit experience (U.S. experience).
  • Experience with publicly traded companies (public accounting or corporate accounting).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Workiva preferred.
  • Proven job stability and career progression.

Pay Transparency Notice

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
  • other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
