The Health Systems Key Account Manager will identify, develop and maintain relationships with targeted Centers of Excellence, Hospitals, thought leaders and key influencers within assigned Region. Responsible to align on mutually beneficial opportunities that will advance patient care and result in the acceleration of access and market share for Acadia’s commercial organization. Principle Responsibilities: Identify business opportunities, develop complex approaches to account engagement, and execute against Acadia’s strategic imperatives. Identify, develop and advance relationships with influential & relevant Key Medical Experts. Strong understanding of patient journey and gaps in care to effectively educate on potential EHR interventions within Centers of Excellence and IDN’s. Effectively implement the medication transitions of care process within Hospitals, including discharge order sets. Understand P&T processes for assigned IDN’s and key institutions to assist in formulary access when needed to implement EHR interventions or medication transitions of care. Conduct IDN SPP QBR’s to advance projects, overcome access barriers and identify future opportunities. Educate and actively engage Fellows & Residents to align on project development within Center of Excellence, IDN or Health System. Meet expected Brand and Access Objectives that result in market share growth, while ensuring compliance with assigned targeted accounts. Record account information and competitive intelligence through available account management resources and tools. Create access and pull-through opportunities for the field sales organization within Centers of Excellence, which leads to increased compliance, market share & profits. Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures, as well as, US healthcare laws and regulations. Skills & Experience: Develop & advance relationships with specified IDN’s & strategic organizations within specified Region. Effective utilization of Acadia’s tools and resources to advance patient care. Proven record of leadership without authority. Strong personal drive and proven record in fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to problem solve and drive innovation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong influencing and negotiating skills with both external & internal matrix. Ability to conduct effective presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or timelines. Experience Required: Minimum of 5+ years of Pharmaceutical account management or Hospital sales experience, CNS and Specialty Pharmacy experience strongly preferred. 3+ years of experience in Institutional, IDN/complex health system Manager, or Regional Sales Manager with a demonstration of National level leadership. Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to comply with strict policy, work in a highly regulated environment. Ability to analyze data, information and insight to define strategy. Ability to operate independently without strong support/guidance. Work well within a fast-paced and dynamic environment with an ability to have an impact in a short space of time. Must exhibit leadership skills, ability to perform in fast-paced environments and ability to influence without authority. Strong oral and written communication skills, and polished executive presence required. Ability to travel 50-75%. Physical Requirements: This role requires regular standing, walking, sitting, and the use of hands for handling or operating equipment. The employee may also be required to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and maintain visual, verbal, and auditory communication both in a standard office environment and while working independently from remote locations. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Ability to travel by car or airplane independently up to 75% of the time and work after hours if required by travel schedule or business issues.
