We offer 100% vertical integration capabilities such as end-to-end engineering, manufacturing, and in-house logistics.We're proud of our Tier 1 supplier legacy for manufacturing propulsion-agnostic, structural automotive components, and assemblies around the globe.To help us drive excellence, you'll get to:Supervises, coordinates, and prioritizes activities of shift Coordinators to meet customer, plant, and management requirements.Supervises, coordinates, and prioritizes activities of shift personnel to meet customer, plant, and management requirements.Implement cost effective systems of control for capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages, and salaries.Manages capital asset maintenance.Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.Control and minimize labor overtime, premium freight, and repair expenses.Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.Provide leadership and training to accomplish Company goals and objectives.Reviews / inspects orderliness and housekeeping to maintain company standards.Punctual and regular attendance is required.Required ExperienceThis is a full-time salary role in the Operations Department team and reports to the Operations Manager. Required experience:Manages subordinate associates. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Production.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Enforces MIOSHA and company safety regulations.For the most part, can perform activities of direct reports.Participates in continuous improvement activities.Working conditions:We'll provide position-specific details including physical and focused efforts, working environment and conditions, and reasonable accommodations during the interview process.Where you'll be:This position is located at our Detroit, MI Euclid plant.
