About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Construction Superintendent to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day construction activities of our multifamily projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison with owners, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Scheduling and Logistics: Develop and implement project work schedules, expediting critical materials and equipment for timely delivery to site.
  • Subcontractor Management: Review, respond, and resolve subcontractor schedule impacts and claims of productivity impacts.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Manage and make decisions related to the performance of work, including scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control, and trade employee staffing levels.
  • Documentation and Communication: Document project field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule, and prepare RFIs to clarify questions on building plans and details when necessary.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee work among all trades to promote a coordinated project operation, resolving local area problems and ensuring all necessary permits and insurance are in place.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 5+ years of building construction experience, with a strong background in multifamily construction.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Thorough knowledge and understanding of general and subcontract documents, drawings, and specifications, construction means, methods, and materials, as well as line and grade and survey methods.
  • Education and Certifications: Completed OSHA 30 hour training course, with a strong ability to develop employees by providing stretch assignments with the right blend of support.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work inside and outside in all types of weather, with occasional lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
