Power Line Supply is seeking a customer service minded individual to join our growing team as a Buyer Analyst.

BUYER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Foster and build partnerships with our internal customers and suppliers to ensures PLS is continually building strategic relationships based on analytical data.
  • Proficient with standard purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Process purchase orders, change orders, and order acknowledgments.
  • Work in conjunction with Accounting to investigate and resolve invoicing and freight charge issues in a timely manner.
  • Resolve dock audits that are with your supplier in an expeditious manner.
  • Evaluate daily, weekly, and monthly reports while taking actions to improve the overall efficiency of the procurement department to support customer service and operations.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
  • Collaborate both professionally and positively with Customer Service and Operations in order to develop and/or improve "best in class" process, procedures relative to daily activities.
  • Travel occasionally for meetings, trainings, trade shows and other events as assigned by supervisor.
