Our Accounts Payable Lead (U.S.) will manage accounts payable activities for all Provisur U.S. locations to include Chicago, Mokena and Whitewater. Your responsibilities will include managing the accounts payable systems and procedures in accordance with company policies, resolving invoice and payment issues, and handling month-end accounts payable accruals. Additionally, you will provide training and coaching to the Accounts Payable teams at Mokena and Whitewater.

What You'll do:

  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable Representatives at Mokena and Whitewater to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.
  • Supervise disbursements as directed while maintaining the disbursement platform strategy and maintain the payable workflow platform.
  • Work closely with purchasing, receiving and other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies, reconcile accounts payable accounts with supplier statements, and communicate effectively with suppliers.
  • Perform and monitor monthly accounts payable accrual, account analysis, assigned journal entries, reclassifications and reconciliations, along with other assigned projects.
  • Lead AP automation and workflow projects, ensure standard operating procedure are documented, training, and provide training and compliance oversight.
  • Supervise annual 1099 statements and ensure timely filing.

  • Associate degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role and 3 years of related accounting knowledge.
