Temporary Senior Grant Administrator, Heller Post Award Services

This temporary position will work closely with the recently hired Senior Grant Administrator to provide behind-the-scenes post-award support to the Heller School's research Centers and Institutes. The individual will provide direction for day-to-day task resolution and assist with the transition of post award grant services from the Heller School to the Office of Research and Administration.This position will review the monthly costing allocation files to ensure that Workday and Grant Database have been reconciled each month, and insure that workday grant costing allocations and the grant database are up to date. The individual in this position will create payroll costing allocation adjusting (PAA) entries and insure that monthly costing allocations are entered within posted payroll deadlines.The individual in this position will work closely with the Heller finance business partner to process correcting entries for FY24 incorrectly posted expenses. The entries may include postings to grant, endowment, gift, and university accounts as requested by the Heller finance business partner.The individual in this position will aid the team in documenting our current grant administration policies and procedures and suggesting improvements based on experience.Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and InclusionDiversity, equity and inclusion are important values at Brandeis today and always have been for they are rooted in our founding as an institution.
