Key Responsibilities Direct accountability for fixtures, equipment evaluation, hand tools, and time studies as required for the manufacture of assemblies and end products of the current or future program. Additional Information Provide engineering assistance to the design and manufacture of fixtures, machines and tools for the manufacture of seat assembles. This will include the review of ergonomics, mistake proofing, workload, ease of assembly of components or end products. Also work closely with HS+E coordinator to ensure that equipment or fixtures meet all ergonomic and safety standards. Assists in preparing Failure Mode Affects Analysis Reports. Facilitates compliance with all OSHA regulations relating to the plant. Follows-up on issue resolution and audits. Recommends modifications, improvements, or changes necessary to maintain compliance with laws. Key Qualifications/Requirements Undergraduate degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience. A high level of analytical ability is required to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must be proficient with computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database. Solidworks and AutoCAD software.
