What you need to know about this position:

+ The Command Center is the control system for the placement of patients and the scheduling of staff resources within the inpatient nursing units of the hospital.

+ As a member of this team you are integral to ensuring that the patient flow within the hospital is smooth and contributes to an overall positive patient experience.

+ As a Resource Specialist you schedule, monitor and coordinate with hospital staff to ensure that we have the right people in the right place to meet the needs of our patients 24 hours a day.

+ You will work with departments within the hospital and other facilities to facilitate the transfer of a patient to the right bed in a timely manner.

+ The position is responsible for preparing and maintaining the staff schedules for designated units and departments to ensure 24-hour coverage. Staff scheduling includes the preparation of master schedules and the inclusion of daily revisions so that accurate records are always available by position, unit and shift assignment.

+ Our Command Center Resource Specialists have an hourly base rate starting at $18.55. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

+ In this position you would be scheduled to work 3 -8-hour day shifts (24 hours/week, considered full-time) with start/end times of 8:00AM-4:30PM with a holiday requirement.

+ With at least 24 hours per week, this position is benefit eligible.

What is required for this position:

+ Upon hire, you must have:

+ One of the following:

+ Associates degree and 1 year of healthcare experience or

+ 5 years of healthcare experience or

+ Equivalent combination of education and experience

+ Lean Sigma experience preferred.
