Job SummaryAmenity Health Services is seeking a highly motivated, professional, and dependable Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, re-evaluating, developing, and implementing individualized plans of care for pediatric patients in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and preferred practice patterns. This role also involves supervising and directing activities performed by Physical Therapy staff, including Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and Physical Therapy students, in alignment with PT Board, APTA, and CPTA mandates.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient CareEvaluate, assess, and treat pediatric patients, developing and implementing evidence-based, individualized physical therapy plans of care.Re-evaluate patients periodically and adjust treatment plans as needed.Demonstrate proficiency in a variety of physical therapy modalities to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Supervision & LeadershipDirect and supervise the activities of Physical Therapy Department staff, including Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and students, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Lead by example in promoting ethical and professional behavior.Assist with the orientation, training, and ongoing development of new staff members.Coordinate and conduct regular staff meetings to provide updates on departmental information and new physical therapy trends.Oversee educational programs, staff performance improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development opportunities for the team.Collaboration & CommunicationCollaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive patient care and improvement in patient outcomes.Maintain positive working relationships with all team members and contribute to a supportive work environment.Regularly communicate updates to staff, ensuring all team members are informed of new developments and strategies in pediatric physical therapy.Documentation & ComplianceMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and departmental operations.Contribute to the evaluation of the PT department's effectiveness and compliance with clinic policies and procedures.Stay current with physical therapy literature, new trends, and industry developments to ensure best practices are being followed.QualificationsDegree in Physical Therapy from an accredited programValid state license to practice Physical TherapyExperience working with pediatric patients is highly preferredStrong communication and leadership skillsProficiency in physical therapy modalities and evidence-based treatmentsAbility to work well within a collaborative, team-oriented environmentStrong organizational and time-management skillsMust maintain a professional, ethical, and dependable work ethicBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Opportunities for continued professional developmentSupportive work environment with a focus on education and growthAmenity Health Services is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
