Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist Specialist to join our team at Ventex Home Health Agency Inc. in Houston, Texas.

About the Role

This is a full-time position requiring a Master's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program and a Texas Physical Therapy License.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document and Plan Patient Care: Develop and implement patient plans of care, progress notes, and other clinical records.
  • Screens and Examines Patients: Conduct thorough screenings and examinations to evaluate patient needs.
  • Direct Treatment: Provide direct physical therapy treatment to patients, including performing pediatric assessments and identifying patient needs.
  • Supervise Assistants: Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Attend staffing conferences, contribute to discussions, and demonstrate effective interpersonal relations and communication skills.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • License/Certification: Texas Physical Therapy License.
