Description

Summary: Assigned the responsibility to assist with compliance functions related to BSA/AML/OFAC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Perform reviews of OFAC alerts and interdict satisfactorily. Escalate positive matches to the OFAC Officer for further action.
  2. Provide support to the BSA Manager(s), with special OFAC screening, analyses and/or project tasks.
  3. Provide assistance and support to other BSA Analysts of the Unit, when needed.
  4. Ensure all tasks assigned are completed, timely, following policies and procedures.
  5. Complete any external monitoring reviews, as assigned.
  6. Work closely with Manager to support fulfillment of OFAC information requests for audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory examinations.
  7. Work closely with Manager and Department head to provide support, as needed on KYC, CIP, alert reviews, aggregation of currency transaction reports, cash reconciliations and other operational tasks. Also provide support with BSA clearance for Treasury Management prospects.
  8. Report unusual and suspicious activity to the appropriate unit for further investigations.
  9. Perform backup responsibilities as assigned, including BSA/CDD loan due diligence, quality control process for KYC profiles and CIP.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A) or High school diploma and a minimum of two years of banking experience.
