Operations Support Specialist

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Support Specialist to join our team.
Job Overview: The Operations Support Specialist provides operational and administrative support for the Area Service Managers and Field Technicians in their geographical areas. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our business processes. This position involves collaborating with various departments to support and optimize day-to-day operations, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Support: Provide day-to-day operational support to ensure business processes run smoothly. Address and resolve operational issues promptly and efficiently.
- Data Management: Maintain and manage operational data, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Generate and analyze reports to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Troubleshooting: Assist with customer/operational issues as needed. Diagnose problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor operational and financial performance and report on metrics and provide insights to management.
- Parts Administration Support: Support with technician issues concerning part orders with extensive lead times. Receives all deliveries for the local office and notate necessary work orders for which they are assigned.
- Billing Administration Support: Assist with billing issues for customer sites throughout the assigned territory.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Area Service Managers to identify potential growth opportunities within the territory.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operations support role or similar position. Basic knowledge of HVAC/R, plumbing, and electrical systems or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with ERP systems and data management tools is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and environments. Flexibility to handle new and unexpected challenges.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- The majority of the time will be spent in the local Moore's office. Valid Driver's License and dependable transportation is required.
- Occasionally attend customer or corporate meetings outside of office location.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 1-hour lunch.
- $23 - $27/hr. based on qualifications, experience, and skills.
