Overview:

Job Summary

Assists the Director of Human Resources to ensure operational effectiveness and exceptional customer service to the team members of the resort. Provides administrative and professional level support as needed for various Human Resources functions, including recruitment, training, employee relations, compliance, leave administration, benefits administration and events/recognition.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions (including but not limited to):

  1. Maintains Human Resource Information System records with accuracy and timeliness. Compiles reports and trends analytical data as needed and/or directed.
  2. Responsible for completion and accuracy of all personnel files, including I-9s. Conducts audits as needed and/or directed.
  3. Coordinates and assists with leave administration and benefits enrollment and administration.
  4. Coordinates and maintains accurate job descriptions and job postings. Utilizes and maintains the applicant tracking system. Conducts new hire screening, background checks, onboarding and orientation as needed.
  1. Partners with team members and management to administer and communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations. Assists with maintaining Team Member Handbook and other policies and procedures manual(s). Ensures legal and ethical compliance with state and federal laws.
  2. Coordinates and/or facilitates various HR related programs and events, including training sessions, team member luncheons and team member recognition events.
  3. Update and maintain various HR systems, including intranet site, recruitment sites and training databases as needed.
  4. Assists in development and evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals and the resort branding. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvement in efficiency of department and services performed.
  5. Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with all resorts team members and guests. Serves as a resource to team members for HR related inquiries.
  6. Other projects and duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.


Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
