Customer Service Representative

Our client, a leader in the utility services industry, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be part of the customer support team, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service and assistance. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a keen attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries regarding services.
- Assist customers with setting up new accounts and processing payments.
- Explain billing statements and address billing discrepancies.
- Take service requests for maintenance and ensure timely follow-up.
- Investigate customer complaints and work to resolve issues professionally.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a utility environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in challenging situations.
