This position performs technical and customer service duties in support of department operations.

Examples of Duties

* Process motor vehicle renewals. * Processes disabled persons applications. * Processes motor vehicle transfers. * Issues license plates, including specialty plates and dealer plates. * Receives and processes property tax payments. * Processes refunds. * Serves as Passport Agent as needed. * Receives and processes special taxes, including VIT, Hotel/Motel tax and liquor license renewals. * Balances cashbox daily. * Performs any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. * Must have at least one ( 1 ) year of work experience. * Must be able to type at least 30 wpm.
