Brown & Brown has an exciting opportunity available for a Commercial Lines Marketing Analyst supporting our Carmel, Indiana team

Under direct supervision from a manager or other supervisor, this individual's primary responsibility involves assisting Commercial Lines Marketing Representatives in the marketing of accounts and providing technical back up support for underwriting and production staff. Efforts support the production of new and renewal business. Decisions are made on direction or otherwise

established guidelines. This position has a hybrid work environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Provide complete submission to company underwriters. Negotiate with underwriters to obtain optimal coverage and pricing.
  • Update applications and proposal based on coverage sold.
  • Bind/Order policies from insurance companies based on coverage sold.
  • Maintain constant communication with producers and leaders to avoid any surprises.
  • Maintain constant communication with staff regarding market changes.
  • Provide complete proposal to producer to present to client.
  • Develop new and nurture market relationships.
  • Maintain contracts for insurance companies and wholesalers/MGA's
  • Maintain company marketing files with current marketing materials and applications.
  • Other duties as directed by the VP Property and Casualty Division
  • Set up renewal meetings for producers with CSA's.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar Insurance role.
  • Minimum education - college degree or related work experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office & Excel.
  • Exceptional customer service with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.
  • Active P&C license or willing to obtain.
