TwoPointO Investor Relations, LLC is a subsidiary of Valeo Financial Advisors, LLC, a multi-family office with approximately $7.5 billion in assets under management. Our company provides investor relations services for real estate sponsors located throughout the United States. Our services include pre-investment due diligence, cashiering, K-1 and report distribution, ongoing sponsor relations, annual due diligence updates, and prospective sponsor due diligence. In addition to investor relations services, TwoPointO oversees and manages the ~$500 million Valeo private commercial real estate portfolio.

About the Role

We are seeking a Commercial Real Estate Investments Intern to support the real estate investment committee and gain exposure to several real estate asset classes. As a TwoPointO intern, you will work closely with senior leadership to balance technical analysis, business strategy, time management, and communications.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare reports and participate in board meetings with TwoPointO and senior members of Valeo Financial Advisors;
  • Collaborate on the financial modeling of private and private-public real estate investments in Microsoft Excel;
  • Build template emails to be distributed to Valeo advisors, commercial real estate developers, and Valeo clients summarizing current real estate investments;
  • Maintain and grow internal technology databases, specifically DealpathTM and Microsoft SharePoint;

    • Assist with the entire investment process from initial structuring through post-funding portfolio management for a given transaction;

    • Review and distribute market data and reports from prospective sponsors and 3rd party reporting services; and

    • Complete other projects contributing to TwoPointO and Valeo's growth.

Requirements

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in an accredited university.
  • Proactive and possesses the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior organizational, analytical, verbal, and written skills.
  • Past experience, education, or passion in commercial real estate is preferred. However, individuals majoring in finance, accounting, marketing, computer science, or other related fields will also be considered for the position.
