The Quality Systems Specialist is responsible for supporting activities related to the Quality Management System. The position will support the implementation and maintenance of technical product documentation & Roquette's controlled documentation (procedures, etc.) and will assist with Roquette's Quality department by facilitating and/or completing requests generated by the Quality Team, Sales Team, Customer Care Team and directly from customers. This individual will be familiar with company priorities, quality systems to include computer data management systems, HACCP and Food Safety systems, product technical documentation, specifications, regulatory, customer and third-party certifications.

Responsibilities for quality systems include but are not limited to computer systems for quality management (ex. CICS, SAP), product stability programs, documentation system and records management, customer quality and global quality tools (SDOL, GCQR, RMQ, ONEDoc). This position will write, review, and approve responses to customers and various internal / external documents. This position will manage quality master data in SAP.

A wide degree of creativity and self-motivation to complete tasks is expected as well as a willingness to participate as an integral member of a high-performance team.

  • Interact with internal and external customers by providing Quality technical documentation for Roquette Americas products.
  • Create, Maintain and Update product documentation information for the SDOL tool.
  • Independently review and complete customer requests and specifications through the Customer Request Database.
  • Manage the input and maintenance of quality master data in SAP for Roquette America sites.
  • Manage the renewal of certifications (ex. Kosher, HALAL, Free Sale, 3rd Party Audits).
  • Create and Maintain product information and statements for America's products on ONE/RMQ/SDOL and Quality home page.
  • Create purchase requisitions and receive purchase orders in SAP/ARIBA for Quality Department
  • Facilitate customer plant audits and 3rd party inspections with Sales and Quality. Assist the Quality group by providing requested documentation and other items that support the audit.
  • Create, organize, and maintain files including product and customer files for Quality team.
  • Assist with the internal audit program.
  • Facilitates the Change Management program for Quality.
  • Manage the Quality controlled documentation system in the role of Document Contributor in ONEDoc.

Specificities:

Manage the input and maintenance of Quality Master Data in SAP. Independently complete customer questionnaires and requests in the Customer Request Database. Create and Manage Quality Documentation (ONE / SDOL/RMQ). Facilitate Change Management program for Quality.

Manage Quality Documentation in ONEDoc as Document Contributor.

Education:

BS/BA degree in Business/Administrative, Scientific, Regulatory or related technical field.

Experience:

3 years experience in an administrative support or quality/production technical role in a manufacturing industry.

Specific requirements:

Basic understanding of GMP Regulations (21CFR110); food industry GFSI Certification Programs (ISO22000,PAS220, ISO9001, FSMA); Chemical and Microbiological analysis. Demonstrates strong communication both written and oral; problem solving and workflow design; understanding of experiment design, data collection and chemical analysis; well organized and able to work well under pressure, manage competing demands and meet deadlines with strong follow through.

Business Trips (Percentage):

This position may require up to 20% business travel.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position does have not have supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

Primary work area for this position is in a plant office. 90% of work time is spent inside; 10% of work time is spent outside. Occasionally this position requires visits to the production facilities.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Physical demands of this position include repetitive use of hands and arms. Individual must be able to talk, hear, see. Individual must be able to reach and move about from one location to another.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and standard hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
