The BIA-Crude organisation is a focused on delivering real solutions that improve HSSE and Risk Management and add business value to help drive the T&S Crude business agenda forward.

The Project Delivery Specialist leads delivery of T&S Crude-specific and, in some case, global improvement projects/initiatives aligned with the T&S imperatives of HSSE, Risk Management and Value. Often this will include partnering with Crude trading teams and process/functional staff who support Crude, such as Operations, IT, Process & Controls and Finance.

Key Responsibilities include:

Ability to deliver projects/initiatives that vary in size, scale and complexity across a global business with implications across the Life of a Deal (LoaD) and, in some cases, intersection to other Trading & Supply (T&S) Lines of Business (LoBs).

Responsible to develop, co-creating as necessary, manage and deliver T&S Crude-specific and, in some case, global improvement projects/initiatives aligned with the T&S imperatives of HSSE, Risk Management and Value through cross functional and cross-organisational teams as required.

Mentoring, coaching and supporting, as necessary of Project Delivery Analysts.

Coordinating with relevant elements of the GM BIA-Crude organisation (and other LoaD and LoB stakeholders, as applicable) to assure required processes and controls, change management, including new/updated ways of working, are embedded within T&S Crude as a core aspect of project/initiative delivery.

Working effectively with key stakeholders from board to trading desk level.

**What we need from you**

* Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or equivalent work experience).

* Minimum of 5 years, with knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

* Strong business knowledge in Trading, Operations or Risk e.g. at least 5 years experience preferable

* outside of direct line management.

* Use initiative, make decisions under pressure and maintain a delivery focus with a strong drive to deliver on commitments.

* Strong stakeholder relationship skills to harness ideas and generate solutions/new approaches, drive sponsorship, buy-in and sign-off during projects and influence key stakeholders at all levels in the organisation where necessary.

* Have the ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and key relationships and ability to solve a wide range of business problems without being a subject matter expert.

* Strong communication skills, including: (1) acting as a positive communicator able to promote the positive impact of change within an organisation; (2) being comfortable speaking up, escalating concerns and providing an independent view and voice, (3) ability to facilitate meetings, lead presentations, and communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively across a range of stakeholders/perspectives.

* Preferable to have professional Project Management qualifications e.g. PRINCE 2, Agile project management.
