We are currently seeking a full-time **Customer Service Clerk** for our Ultra Optics Division located in Brooklyn Park, MN. Ultra Optics is the industry leader in premier quality coatings and the equipment used to apply scratch-resistant coating to ophthalmic lenses. This is an excellent opportunity to join our TEAM

Job Summary

Greet customers and vendors in a timely and professional manner by telephone, email and in person. Receive requests for quotations, orders and information from customers. Make quotations on standard items, write orders and relay pertinent order information to customers. Coordinate with other departments in handling purchase orders and providing service to customers.

Position Responsibilities:

* Answer phone calls in a timely professional manner and direct callers accurately using the highest degree of customer service

* Receive phone, email/on-line and fax requests for price quotations, purchase order, adjustments and cancellations directly from customers

* Use PC to retrieve customer information, stock status, status of purchase orders, and to make changes on purchase orders. Ensure correct codes are used for retrieving and inputting information

* Package, sort, and route completed work by best carrier

* Perform other duties as assigned

Experience/Qualifications

* High school diploma, GED or equivalent, plus 1 year of relevant work experience

* Demonstrated ability to deal with customers

* Excellent organizational skills

* Good verbal and written communication skills
