Supply Chain Analyst

Supply Chain Analyst role in the Continuous Process Improvement Team is critical to the continued success and growth of Medline that wants to optimize its supply chain operations for best service to patients when they need it.Inventory Management relies on efficient and effective supply chain planning (strategy) and processes (execution) . You will have opportunity to getdeep understanding of Supply Chain functions and their key performance indicators (KPIs). You will analyze large amounts of data uncovering trends and gaps. You will get to identify areas of inefficiency in the supply chain, recommend and develop solutions to improve those processes resulting in improved KPIs. You will work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels to implement process improvements and manage change for effective outcomes. You will have a key role in developing and executing strategic plans. Identify needs, define and frame issues and develop detailed project plans. Coordinate and manage projects to conclusion.Prepare analyses for supply chain planning and operation processes to identify gaps and recommend improvementsCreate comprehensive project plans, including tasks, events, and measurements. Determine required resources and assign tasks. Execute projects, track progress, coordinate efforts and communicate to stakeholders regularlyProvide analysis and reporting in conjunction with Information Systems, Divisions, Operations and Financial Audit.Recommend, develop, create and implement standard reporting for routine business reports.Communicate results of key measurement projects. And much moreMinimum Job RequirementsEducation Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Information Services, Mathematics or Applied Statistics.Relevant Work ExperienceAt least 1 year operations and/or inventory management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience communicating to groups of managers, clients, customers, vendors, senior managers and the general public.AdditionalIntermediate level skill in Microsoft Access (for example: designing and creating simple queries, modifying data types, adding dates, working with required fields and/or creating labels). Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).Experience calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages and volume.Experience applying standard financial, accounting and business problem-solving skills to business problems.Preferred QualificationsRelevant Work ExperienceExperience in project management and data analysis.Finance or Marketing analysis experience.
