Job Summary

Sells company's products to new clients or assigned accounts. Visits clients, assesses client needs, improves brand awareness, and suggests appropriate products. Ensures effective implementation of marketing and sales plans. Responds to enquiries, negotiates sales, and concludes sales orders.

Principle purpose is to create and maintain profitable sales growth through existing business and new packaging opportunities CGD markets (Frozen Dessert and Custom Packaging) to sustain the financial health of the organization. Product lines include: Bulkan, Ultrakan, Convocan, Nestyle, Regal, Revelle, hot cup, etc.

Region is over $20+ million annually, large Consumer Product Customer(s) with global reach.

Essential Functions

Experienced Account Leadership (5+ yrs. years sales experience).
Telephone, email/written correspondence, personal visits, trade shows and attendance/participation in other professional organizations.
New Business Generation.
Telephone, email/written correspondence, personal visits, trade shows and attendance/participation in other professional organizations.
Customer liaison to Huhtamaki Corporate (marketing, manufacturing, graphics, equipment services & engineering, T & D).
Market intelligence.
Project teams.
Professional Development.
Travel expected 50% of the time (Domestic).

Required

Job Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, database systems, Microsoft Office).
Motivated individual with the ability to achieve sales goals within the assigned timelines.
Ability to communicate Huhtamaki capabilities/direction in any medium.
The vision and focus to establish goals consistent with the Huhtamaki Consumer Goods business and strategy.
Ability to reach and influence a full complement of decision-makers within assigned accounts.
The leadership skills to manage multiple tasks and teams simultaneously while appropriately prioritizing activities.
Financial ability to understand the margin and cost structures of products and return to Huhtamaki.
Dependability and sound business ethics; fiscal responsibility to manage within budgeted expense guideline.
Willingness to relocate after first year and for future roles.
Initial location is DeSoto, KS, with relocation intended to best support customer.
