IMSolutions is looking for Federal Grants Management Specialists to join us at our client, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). This position is 100% remote. As a Grants Management Specialist I (GMS I), you will perform grant administration functions to assist the Government PCO/Grants Officer in grant closeouts and financial reporting. These functions will include: Perform the administration or termination, and/or closeout of grants, and/or grants assistance and agreement awards. Organize, file, and maintain all current project documents and enter information into and manage the digital project databases. Coordinate and do various grants-related activities. Knowledge of the federal grants process is highly desired. *The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, familiar with Federal financial processes, able to work well with people both inside and outside of government, and comfortable with understanding and ensuring others follow regulations and other requirements. To qualify, you will have: 2+ years of Federal grants experience Bachelor’s degree or at least 24 credit hours in business or a business-related field. Knowledge of federal grants laws, regulations, and policies and an understanding of business and industry grant practices. Experience in grant financial analysis and providing technical assistance and recommendations to meet the grant's intent. U.S. Citizenship or Foreign National with a work permit and residing in the U.S. for three (3) or more years. Ability to pass a Federal Public Trust Clearance, which must be adjudicated favorably for you to begin working. This requires fingerprinting and reporting on your previous employment, residence, education, and financial and legal background. Preferred Job Qualifications: Knowledge of eRA Commons. Certified Federal Grants Manager certification through NGMA. Base compensation range and benefits: $45,000 to $55,000—Actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.
