Position Overview Versed in marketing automation (MA) best practices, the Marketing Automation Specialist brings functional and application expertise to help plan, implement, maintain, and support marketing automation within various business units. This role supports business teams to optimize the marketing and sales funnel for higher engagement and to provide training and ongoing expert support.

This subject matter expert has 3 years of hands-on, daily experience in campaign building, lead

scoring/nurturing/routing,

reporting, and contact database management. The Marketing Automation Specialist will bring hands-on experience to drive best practice implementation of campaign asset construction and execution.

This position will be supporting the company’s objective of expanding a healthy sales pipeline and establishing our brand as a thought leader in various industries. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit and is looking to build upon their marketing automation experience and grow into more diverse digital marketing management projects.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the planning, building, and execution of marketing automation campaigns • In charge of the contact database, the marketing automation platform, and it’s connection to SFDC • Contributes to the tagging and tracking of marketing campaigns • Supports the management of the library of email and landing page templates • Plans and consults on the lead scoring and management process • Stays educated on MA best practices • Makes recommendations on implementing marketing processes and leverages automated mechanisms for execution of those processes • Helps develop and deliver automated and ad hoc reports to share campaign results to stakeholders • Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

• BS/BA degree in Marketing, Technology, or Business. • 3 years of experience in B2B marketing, with automated outbound and inbound marketing including lead

scoring/nurturing/routing,

campaign development and management, landing page and form building and optimization, and reporting/analytics • 3 years of experience with Hubspot • Marketing automation experience as a power user (community participation a plus) • Experience with data hygiene and database segmentation • Should have a solid understanding of B2B demand generation—from top of the funnel through sales handoff including lead scoring, lead nurturing, and lead qualification. • Will have a strong knowledge of how to build multi-touch, digital nurturing campaigns for prospects not in an active buying cycle. • Must be eligible to work in the US - no sponsorship available

Technical Proficiencies: • Marketing automation (Hubspot) • Microsoft Office • SFDC • HTML is a plus

Key Interfaces: • Regional marketers • Content producers • Marketing Communications • Product Managers
