As a network engineer on our team, youll use your skills in network design and configuration, system interoperability, routing and switching protocols, and cloud computing to help support the nations defense and respond to evolving adversaries. Youll support Booz Allen and client-led teams in designing and implementing advanced data networks to increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. Your knowledge of network technologies, best practices, and system design will help you contribute to your teams as we aid our clients efforts to optimize network and IT operations and modernize their infrastructure. Using your experience in network security and management systems, youll serve as a trusted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. You Have: 6 years of experience in network engineering or administration Experience with routing and switching protocols, including OSPF, LACP, VTP, and NAT Ability to obtain a security clearance HS diploma or GED Security Certification Nice If You Have: Top Secret clearance Associate's degree in Technology, IT, or Computer Science CCNA, VCP, AWC or Azure Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
