If you are looking for an exciting job with one of the largest off-price retail stores in the nation, join the Burlington Stores, Inc. team as a Human Resources CoordinatorAs an HR Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to our Distribution Center team at our Edgewater Park, NJ location. HR coordinators should display strong problem solving and decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, payroll support and Federal and State law compliance.Responsibilities to include:Process various time-sensitive data entry, uploads, exports and transactional requests from HR, the business and associates related to status changes in the HRIS and all applicable systems.Prepare new hire orientation material and maintain data entry for new hires as well as conduct new hire orientation and onboarding. Manage, track and ensure compliance on all associate information and documentation as dictated by governing policies, including new hire required documentation, associate performance reviews, progressive discipline and terminations. Supports the Distribution Centers with the planning, communicating and tracking of company-wide initiatives, events and objectives throughout the year as well as the daily associate inquiries. Advise and assist Managers and Supervisors on interpretation and administration of HR policies and procedures.Act as a liaison between Distribution Center associates and Corporate Benefits department to support and resolve benefits inquiries.Coordinate FMLA, LOA, Workers Comp claims and submit paperwork to corporate/vendorHandling and support additional projects as needed.Schedule:Tuesday through Saturday 10am-7pmOur ideal candidate will have:Associates degree or equivalent work experienceBackground & understanding of basic Human Resources principlesHR Experience in a Distribution Center environment a plusBilingual in Spanish preferredAbility to work independently as well as with a team.Ability to be cross-trained and serve as back up resource to other coordinators in department.Proactive work ethic; does not need to be micro-managed.Proficient in Microsoft OfficeCome join our team.
