Marketing Events Coordinator. The Marketing Events Coordinator is client-facing and central to the marketing department's core service offering. Teamwork and collaboration are crucial, as is a service-minded orientation and the ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced environment.This position requires travel across the firm's footprint for certain signature events in order to ensure excellent execution.

KEY CONTRIBUTIONS

Execute logistics for external marketing events, including CLEs and seminars, retreats, receptions, dinners, and special events, as well as providing support for tradeshows, conferences, and sponsorships. Specific events responsibilities include: Design and distribute event communications and manage associated contact lists and RSVPs. Manage onsite logistics for in-person events and remote setup for virtual events. Draft post-event surveys and ensure appropriate follow up. Source associated event supplies and promotional items.

Communicate directly with attorneys and business development team. Ensure events engage the firm's clients and prospects in a memorable way. Maintain and distribute the marketing event calendar. Assist with the firm's client entertainment opportunities, e.g. sporting event tickets. Manage master list of preferred vendors, including suppliers, restaurants, hotels, and event venues. Other responsibilities as needed

THE ESSENTIALS

Prior event management experience required. Experience in a corporate or professional services environment preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Zoom Events, Canva, and Asana project management platform a bonus. Excellent interpersonal skills to provide great client service and handle sensitive information.A high degree of poise, tact, and diplomacy, as well as a professional appearance are required. Analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize reports, find solutions to various event, process, and information problems, and prioritize work. Strong attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials. Exceptional resourcefulness and adept problem-solving skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail, especially when navigating and addressing unforeseen challenges in real-time. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. May include periodically working around standard work hours to meet demands. Bachelor's Degree preferred.Relevant event planning experience in lieu of a degree will be considered. Some travel required.
