About this Role
As the Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist, you will be responsible for tracking and processing the financial transactions of the company. A successful candidate will be able to interface will all aspects of the company including engineering, sales, and the account management teams to verify theirs payments and invoices are paid in a correct and timely manner.
This is a full-time, exempt position located in our El Segundo headquarters.
Required Skills
* Process a high volume of vendor invoices
* Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts and the resolution of any discrepancies
* Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
* Respond to external vendors and internal managers in regard to all aspects of the accounts payable process
* Contribute to departmental automation and process improvement projects
* Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree
* 1+ years of professional experience in accounts payable, finance, and/or operations experience
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Experience in Microsoft Excel
* U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the U.S. to conform with U.S Government space technology export regulations under ITAR
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
* Strong interest in automation and process improvement
* Experience with Microsoft Business Central and/or other ERP accounting systems
* Experience with US GAAP accounting standards
* Experience with processing payments to international vendors in foreign currencies and languages
* Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
* Exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to new situations
Compensation
* Accounts Payable Specialist: $29/hour - $31/hour
* Leveling and base salary is determined by job-related skills, education level, experience level, and job performance
* You will be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of stock options and/or long-term cash awards
* Offer compensation also includes the ability to purchase company stock through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan
