This position will provide technical leadership to production, engineering, and maintenance operations for 4.0-related projects. This may include the research, design, budgeting, scheduling, and management of capital projects as well as providing daily technical and troubleshooting support to the facility. This position will also provide leadership in identifying and executing scalable opportunities to standardize equipment and processes across sites. The Central Controls Engineer will work to develop the automation and controls staff within the group to further their knowledge within the field. As part of the Advanced Manufacturing team, the Central Controls Engineer will represent the voice of the automation and controls staff when developing future 4.0 strategies and projects. Essential functions include: + Assessment of manufacturing processes, design scalable efforts to automate manual activities and reduce operational effort and lead implementation of automation projects. + Recommend and lead projects to standardize equipment and processes across multiple sites.
