Main Responsibilities: Ensure that area of responsibility is in compliance with TS 16949 and YFAI's BOS requirements Initiate and lead appropriate MQR processes for suppliers (top offenders). Manage incoming inspection and containmentactivities for suppliers (top offenders). Manage supplier nonconforming area to ensure quarantined material is transacted appropriately and in a timely manner. Document and managesupplier issues (SMRR, SCB, etc.) in a timely manner. Continually work with suppliers to improvement performance by applying problem solving techniques (8D, 5-Why, etc.) and statistical methods. Assure corrective and preventive action plans are developed and executed at assignedsuppliers. Interact routinely with production personnel, Plant Quality Engineers, Plant Process Engineers, Purchasing, Engineering and Suppliers to improve quality of supplied components. Communicate and manage supplier's process change requests with the plant quality and processing teams. Request, review and process supplier PPAP submissions for all supplier relevantengineering changes. Maintain and manage supplier relevant documentation (PPAP, process change requests, deviations, drawing, etc.) for each supplier by part number. Execute visits to supplier sites to assess, review and verify supplier processes to YFAI requirements. Develop, organize, and maintain systems used to verify product conformance to accepted quality standards. Communicate plant performance goals with YFAI team members. Assuring supplier understanding and compliance with APQP processes and product PPAP submission and approval requirements. Reviewing and approving supplier quality plans (Control Plans, PFMEA) for new components and assemblies for new vehicle. Reviewing supplier manufacturing processes and quality systems. Facilitating root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues. Performing on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of correction actions of supplier quality issues. Implementing and monitoring supplier partqualification and certification processes (PPAP, Run at Rate). Improving quality performance of suppliers by conducting onsite workshops at supplier locations, providing technical assistance in developing a robust quality system, or other technical support as required. Providing technical assistance during supplier launch, change-over and ongoing production activities. Other duties as assigned by Quality Manager. Specific Requirements: Bachelor's Level Degree Area of Study: Quality,Industrial of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience in Quality or Engineering related function.*Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions. 1 -3Years of Experience working in the field of Quality, EngineeringCI or similar (recent college graduate is considered acceptable). 1 Years of Experience within the automotive industry. Possesses strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work in a team environment, establishing partnerships both internally and externally Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills Possess knowledge on the fundamentals of PPAP and APQP processes Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
