Develop sourcing strategies for a wide variety of acquisition projects in all areas of the business in order to contract the procurement of goods and services while supporting business units in innovation. Liaising between internal departments, suppliers, Intact Financial Corp and assisting in the negotiation of procurement contracts, including placing orders. Responsible for developing cost/benefit analysis for new suppliers and contracts, the maintenance and documentation of the vendor and contract database, invoice validation and KPI/SLA reporting. Responsible to maximize the value of IT equipment within an organization by combining financial, contractual, and inventory data to track the status of IT Assets across their lifecycle. Keeping abreast of vendor and supplier related activities in the industry. Establish convenience strategies by analyzing current and future category needs, analyzing expenses, and leveraging industry best practices. Optimize the contracts under his direction according to the QCDIR approach (quality, cost, time, innovation, risk) during the negotiation, renewal, and amendment of contracts. Acting as a liaison between BrokerLink business units and vendors; documenting features and benefits of products and services. Assisting in the negotiation of favourable procurement contracts for BrokerLink technology based products and services. Contracts must meet IFC and BrokerLink security and vendor profile compliance requirements. Coordinate meetings with BrokerLink business units to determine needs prior to contract renewals. Fosters a culture of clear and proactive communication with all internal teams and vendors. Create the necessary information to complete purchase orders, documentation and approvals. Compare invoicing to orders placed. Responsible for developing cost/benefit analysis for new suppliers and contracts. Document and report monthly Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Objectives for critical vendors. Maintain various databases and central repositories for vendor contracts. Responsible for the Software Asset Management reporting/analysis that assist with Identifying savings opportunities for renewals, software licensing and services. Follow through with vendors to obtain identified savings. Support optimal utilization of software assets with reducing cost and minimal delivery time. Collect information for budgeting, software compliance & inventory, contract summaries, maintenance renewals, life cycle planning and cost comparisons. Work closely/collaborate with Asset management team to have a clear and complete view of the IT software asset estate and license ownership in the organization.
