General Summary of PositionMedStar GeorgetownUniversity Hospital is looking for a Program Coordinator II in the Transplant-Liver Acquisition department. The Program Coordinator II at a senior level, performs avariety of administrative and secretarial duties to facilitate the managementof the operational and personnel activities for the department.

Primary Duties
First point of contact forinternal and external inquiries. Establish and maintain positive workingrelationships with patients, visitors, and all levels of personnel,stakeholders and leadership.
Provides administrative supportfor the department to include, but not limited to: calendar updates,scheduling of appointments, incoming phone calls, mail and packagemanagement, incoming and outgoing fax requests, managing and organizinghard and soft copy files.
Typing and editing of internal,administrative and external correspondences in a timely and accuratemanner
Manage the flow of proceduralorders, images and other documents that require administration and followthrough on the completion of required workflow.
Manages schedules for variedfunctions including, but not limited to staff, patients, students,providers, leadership
Develops and maintainsinformational documents and materials for distribution to patients,customers
May organize and coordinatespecial events, projects for the department, to include schedule andinvitations, materials, logistics, budgeting, catering.
Maintains and enters data intovarious databases and systems
May serve as the on-sitedepartment personnel coordinator completing task such as access andsecurity, building maintenance, IT resource coordination, equipmentrequisition and ordering.
May be responsible for therunning, and management and review of various reports and queries for useand distribution inside and outside of the department.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business orHealth related field, Required.
Minimum 5 years' of relatedadministrative experience, Required.
Demonstrated excellence ininterpersonal, verbal and written communication skills as well asexcellent writing and editing skills.
Demonstrates sound judgement andability to think, act and make decisions independently.
Strong public relations, finance,operational, and organizational skills necessary.
Excellent knowledge of wordprocessing, computer graphics, and spreadsheet software(s).
