Program Management Analyst II

Essential Job Functions:
The Program Management Analyst will be responsible for overarching program management support; developing high-level spend plans; overarching programmatic financial management; implementation of business process improvement; developing senior-level financial or logistical briefings; tracking, providing status updates, and processing a wide variety of tasks to completion; minor administrative functions; identifying and correcting data errors, and providing recommended solutions. Responsibilities include, maintaining an action tracker to ensure tasks are completed correctly, comprehensively, and on time; maintenance of financial trackers, participation in various meetings, and assisting with the monitoring of cost and schedule impacts. Additional responsibilities include the consolidation of comments and the evaluation of briefs, reports, naval messages, tracking configuration change documentation through the approval process to include coordinating across multiple other programs and organizations. This client permits hybrid reporting; however, the candidate must be physically located in the DC metro area to attend in-office meetings and events.
Skills:

  • Ability to develop spend plans.
  • Ability to develop/document/implement new processes.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Pro, and MS Word
  • Must be proactive, work independently, and within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience with Navy Program Management
  • 3+ years of experience with Navy Engineering Support
  • NAVSEA and or Team Submarine experience
  • Experience working with various Navy Waterfront entities such as shipyards, installation teams, and regional maintenance facilities.
  • Familiarity with installation and technology insertion hardware processes and practices.
  • Requires at a minimum Active Secret Clearance or qualify for a security clearance
Note - The candidate will need to be able to come into the Washington Navy Yard as needed, on very short notice. Candidate should live in the DC metro area or be willing to relocate.
