Marketing Specialist Job Description•Brandingo Based on Seabrook Solution's forward strategies for company brand and growth, develop marketing strategy to brand company and make the public aware of the company's successes o Develop events schedule and develop/update booth, giveaways, messagingo Develop marketing relationships with like companies and host meetings/events/lunches •Analyticso Website and social media analytics and reporting to SSLLC leadershipo Support SSLLC business develop by researching and reporting on political, government, and/or company key personnel backgrounds, agendas, and personal bios •Communicationso Authoring press releaseso Develop a consistent internal communications approach to keep Seabrook employees in touch and informedo Develop and maintain relationships with Chamber of Commerce at key and strategic locations to maintain engagement o Develop approach for company newsletter•Proposal Support o Authoring drafts for inclusion in Seabrook Solutions proposal effortso Evaluating marketing opportunities and developing proposals that allow the company to compete in local markets§ Small business of the year § Best place to work § ETC•Supporting Company Politics and Engagements o Localo Stateo Federal•Marketingo Oversee the public marketing efforts of Seabrook Solutionso Join Huntsville area contractor organizations and attend meetingso Oversee the creation of marketing materials for existing and upcoming contractso Manage the SSLLC website with any relevant updateso Travel to employee sites for employee morale events•Social Mediao Work with different departments within Seabrook Solutions (SSLLC) and contract personnel to generate compelling posts for social media outletso Generate content about SSLLC to help attract new talento Oversee the creation of video and images about the work that SSLLC performso Post content about conferences and meetings that SSLLC attends in the Huntsville area and around the countryRequired Skills•Understanding of marketing concepts and principles•In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and marketing strategies•Ability to work independently with general direction•Willingness to learn and ask questions•Manage and perform multiple tasks concurrently •Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.), Adobe Suite (Acrobat, Canva, Illustrator, etc.), and other media creation platformsEducation and Experience:•Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience in Marketing roles•Previous communications and marketing experience•Experience with social media analytics tools and methods Experience you will Gain:•Public exposure with the Huntsville, AL government contracting landscape•Experience with multiple DoD and Civil clients through marketing efforts•Ability to generate and influence marketing efforts to refine your skills•Opportunity to impact recruiting efforts through marketing channelsEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
