We are looking for a Clamp Forklift Driver to join our shipping team at Lakeside Book Company. As the largest bookmaker in the United States, you will help move the finished product out the door and into the hands of readers across the country. Advancement opportunities are available

Starting Rate: $20.50 hour, plus shift differential for night shifts

Hours: Rotating 12-hour shift, 2 weeks of 6am-6pm/2 weeks of 6pm-6am, both M/T/F/S/S/W/Th

Location: South Plant; 1025 Willow Springs Rd., Harrisonburg VA 22801

As a Forklift Operator, you will:

* Operate Clamp Forklift equipment, to move large rolls of paper * Scan containers to ensure system accuracy * Inspect your forklift on a daily basis and service the batteries * Process departmental paperwork * Use a computer to utilize the internal company COMN system for job information

Qualifications:

Previous forklift experience, standup and sit down * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds * Ability to stand or sit for the entire duration of your shift * Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment * Previous clamp forklift experience a plus
