Hifyve is hiring for an experienced Lead Accountant for a contracting company in Tallahassee, FL

**Full Benefit Package ** $70K - $95k+, based on experience **Relocation Package

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage accounts payable and receivable, and handle regular account reconciliations. Request utility locates. Assist with month-end closing tasks. Resolve payment issues with vendors, subcontractors, and customers. Manage subcontract agreements and required information. Improve the invoicing process. Use Viewpoint software to analyze reports and fix issues. Ensure timely and accurate payments and bank reconciliations. Collect overdue payments with leadership. Oversee job costing, revenue recognition, and billing. Review financial reports for accurate month-end closing. Manage business and contractor licenses. Provide excellent customer service.

Job Requirements: At least a two-year degree in accounting or a similar field preferred Minimum 5 years of accounting and administrative experience; 2 years of supervisory experience preferred. Preferably experienced in the construction industry and using Vista/Viewpoint software. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Efficient under tight deadlines and able to respond quickly as a team player. Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in MS Excel (macros, pivot tables, formulas, formatting). Strong team player with effective communication skills. Ethical conduct and personal integrity. Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems.
